Manchester United Youngster Marcus Rashford Scores his 5th Career Goal Against Opponents Chelsea FC


It was a historical night as the two English heavyweight clubs met for the second time this season this time in the English Football League (Carabao Cup) on Wednesday night 30th October, 2019 with Manchester United winning the first meeting this season 4 goals to nil at Old Trafford on their first game of the season with Marcus Rashford getting a goal in that encounter.

Marcus Rashford who is just 21years old and few hours to his 22nd birthday netted twice to grant United the away team the winner and qualifications to the Quarter Finals of the EFL Cup. Rashford netted a penalty in the 25th minute after Daniel James was brought down by Chelsea Marcus Alonso. He then netted the winning goal for United which was a stunning free kick from 30 yards in the 73rd minute beating Willy Caballero in the Chelsea goal after Fred was brought down by Pedro thereby cancelling a 61st minute Michy Batshuayi equalizer raising his career goals against Chelsea FC to 5 goals at just 21years of age.

Is this a sign of a better Marcus Rashford to come and the revamp of this Manchester United side? Meanwhile, happy 22nd birthday to him today 31st October, 2019.
